Selecting the right truck for the right job could save your back pocket more than you think. With a wide range of trucks available across multiple industries, bigger isn’t always better.
It’s the age-old saying, “the right tool for the right job”. It doesn’t matter if you’re a hairdresser, I.T Consultant or a Plumber, we all have different tools that we use for different tasks. That’s why you never see a hairdresser brushing someone’s hair with a garden rake. When it comes to excavation, using the right piece of machinery could potentially save you in more ways than one. If you have to dig for pre-build works, sure you could opt for the traditional way & hire an excavator and dig in (pardon the pun). However, without doing the correct pre-dig inspections to consider which type of excavation would safest, you could be paying for repairs and outages from the damage you caused by using the wrong tool.
Below are some of the trucks we offer and the services they are suited for.
Available for both commercial and residential projects. Traditional excavators can be used for a range of construction, earthworks & civil works including but not limited to:
- Pre-build works
- Bulk earthworks
- Site preparation
- Road construction
- Rail construction
- Rockwall construction
All of our fleet over 14 tonnes are equipped with state of the art GPS technology, this allows us to work smarter & faster without sacrificing safety. At Dynamic, we pride ourselves on having an immaculately maintained, ready to go fleet. We provide safe and efficient.
More often than not, projects run behind. Whilst this is a scheduling issue, trades probably won’t wait to get their part done. This can create a congestion and access problem. With a small, versatile piece of plant like a Bobcat, your bulk earthworks, site preparation, site rehabilitation, civil works & final trim can be completed with ease. Fitted with a 4 in 1 bucket, the Bobcat can be used as a loader, grab (the ability to grasp and carry items such as attachments for cranes or spreader bars), a blade – for backfilling or spreading material & a leveller.
Having the plant is one thing. Getting it from the yard to the site is the another. No matter how small the plant is, just fitting onto a trailer doesn’t always cut it. Trailers and vehicles must have sufficient towing and load capacity to transport plant safely and legally to and from site.
“Legally?” you ask? You might get away with the whole “she’ll be right” attitude for a while, but is it worth the risk? Towing laws vary from state to state and you might need a decent tare rating to get the cash to pay the fine. If your towing 15-20% more than your vehicles ATM (aggregate trailer mass) in Victoria, expect to be hit with a $1682 fine. Guessing your ATM isn’t a guessing game you want to play either. Jump over to New South Wales, get your guess wrong and be ready to pay $439 and lose 3 points. Then we can go into things like number plate height, tow mirrors, maximum towing speed or the possibility that your tow bar is obstructing you number plate etc. It’s a rabbit hole you really don’t want to go down. For more information on towing laws, please visit the ntc load restraint guide.
Consider float hire. Dynamic has a Mack Prime Mover readily available to transport equipment up to 12m across QLD & interstate. Whether you have excavation equipment, machinery, pontoons, cars, trucks & caravans, we have the float for you. With a deck length of 9m and payload of up to 23 tonnes, we’ve got you covered.
The Holy Grail of excavation. Hydro Excavation is a two-part process involving high pressurised water to break the surface and a high volume vacuum to suck up the debris. Also known as Hydro-Vac, Sucker Truck and many other names gain its popularity due to how safe it is for excavating around underground services such as:
- Mains power
- Fibre optic lines
Not saying Hydro-Vac eliminates the need to “Dial Before You Dig” but using Hydro Excavation trucks gives you the ease of working around underground service eliminating the possibility of damage.
- Confined digging
- Utility service repairs
- Under excavation (under object or structure)
- Mains or service exposure
- Tight space work where excavators can’t access
- Tree roots
- Debris removal (suction)
- Hard & cold surface excavation
- Remote excavation
So don’t leave it to chance. With a range of trucks available to assist in all tasks, always use the right tool for the right job.
